Jesus is the model for individual spirituality and growth in righteousness  but the trinity is the model for community harmony

In this blog I am going to show you examples of community harmony that led to blessing and community division that led to judgement. USA/south Africa apartheid], Boer republic, Rhodesia  Israel. Deut 28, Justice, oneness.

Community, community community. Communities must not be divided. National communities must not be divided, village communities must not be divided, the church community must not be divided, the community of husband/wife nor the fmily comunity must not be divided.

Westerners! Look and learn. You have been raised in a strict diet of individualism. It was martin Luther, the Protestant reformer who started it. He emphasized that each person for himself must have faith in God. He said that the priests cannot decide what the Bible teaches and tell you, and if you have other insights into scripture, they cannot tell you that you are not going against the teachings of the church.

You must have faith in God alone. You must be taught by scripture alone, You must do what you know is right and you must not do what you know is wrong, even if the priest tells you. All of this is right, but is part of scripture. It is not the whole.

Luther was a great man of God. He changed the whole of European civilization. He bought revival to the church and because of him the moral and spiritual values of Northern European countries were strengthened. Northern Europe then underwent immense technological advancement and unbelievable mushrooming of prosperity.

But Luther was a reactionary. This means that he over emphasized some things in order to bring balance to another thing that was not in balance. The catholic church emphasized community. They emphasized that the church was the axle of the wheel by which the whole culture ran. The church was the center of social functions such s weddings and funerals. The church was the place where children were baptized and he church was the place where everyone gathered to worship God.

The priest was the man who influenced the community through his preaching and private counselling. So the priest was also the guardian of the community. If there was someone who came into the community who was there to exploit the community, the priest could warn people from the pulpit. Through church tithes, he collected a lot of money. This money was put to use feeding the poor and helping widows.

Sounds good. So how come all this huloobalaaah / ballyhooo about the catholic church? The problem was the papacy was infiltrated by wealthy people who used the church for financial gain and to accumulate power to themselves. Because of this the middle ages  was called the dark ages.

It was a crazy era. The popes had concubines and one pope was a woman who gave birth in the street. Naturally she ceased  being pope! It was the era where there were two popes. One in France and one in Italy. Both claimed to be papa, the [one and only]  inspired word of God to the church. A crazy era.

A corrupt era. An era where the popes accumulated enormous wealth for their families  An era where the popes were warriors, going into battle and killing people and forcing them to hand over land and money and whatever. And when people protested? ……. they were the sons of Satan criticizing the church …. and they must die by burning at the stake! The terrible death these victims went through terrified the community so they made sure they obeyed the pope and his priests.

So from being loving shepherds, concerned guardians of all the communities of Europe and Africa, corruption turned the church around to being something that people obeyed out of dread. They dared not disobey the church. And that is what people began to protest about. …. and they were burned at the stake and whole communities were butchered.

But when Luther nailed his 91 theses to the church door, protesting the evils within the catholic church, the papacy was weak, and the printing press had been invented and protestant printers printed Luther’s books and people bought them. They were best sellers and soon a protestant reformation was catching fire throughout Europe.

Luther reacted against the cultural stranglehold the corrupt catholic church had on the people. One guy was even trying to raise money for the Papacy  and he was given permission to sell forgiveness of sins for money [Simony]. Sinners were more than willing to part with cash so that they could sin more. It was a crazy era!

So Luther emphasized individuality. You must read scripture for yourself [true]. You must have a personal faith in Jesus [true]. You must be free to worship at any church that feeds you spiritually, and avoid corrupt churches like the Catholic church of the day [True]. But he did not emphasize community. Christians are in a community called the church. Christians are in a community of people who live around them. Christians are in a community of people at work. Christians must always live in harmony with the communities around them- that is if it is possible.

A Christian is like a lizard. A lizard is soft. It has a soft skin, soft bones and a soft mouth. If you cut off a leg, it will not make a loud noise. If it bites you with all of its strength it does not hurt…… but it is found in Kings palaces. Now a snake which is feared, is not found in kings palaces.

GOOD NEWS BIBLE Pro 30:28  Lizards: you can hold one in your hand, but you can find them in palaces.

if you read Matthew 5, Jesus is not only telling the Jews to live with godly character [1-9]. He is telling them how to live harmoniously in a culture that was hostile to them. In the words of proverbs, he was telling them to live like lizards. Be soft, be gentle [1-9], do not fight back when persecuted [10-12], settle disputes quicky [23-26], do not make a lot  of protests when you are abused [like carrying luggage for the Romans] [38-48].

But the Jews did not listen so they started a war with the abusive Romans and were massacred for it. …… and lost their temple …. and were thrown out of their own land. Eventually the Romans wrote a law that if any soldier found a Jew in Israel  he was to execute him on the spot without a trial- all because they failed to obey the community harmony wisdom of Jesus.

In 1996 I attempted to explain to the Commercial farmers union directors that because of the way they were arrogant towards the rural community around them, and the government, and because they were abusive towards their own labour, President Mugabe was going to remove them from the land. They were more like mongooses than lizards. Mongooses go, lizards stay. The arrogant, abusive farmers were ejected forcefully from the land.  read about it in [www.blomefieldprophecies.wordpress.com]

The community of a nation is a cornerstone of the nation. Luther taught individualism, but not in a proper way but in a reactionary way. Thus the wst is now highly individualistic, and no longer community minded. An example is the Zimbabwean CFU which oversaw immense increase in agricultural production, but because of a lackof community values, its members were forcibly removed from their farms

people blame the government, the ruling party and the president, but each person individually contributes to the downfall of the nation. A corrupt government can only create a corrupt ENVIRONMENT, but cannot make the people corrupt. People become corrupt by choice and bring the judgment of God on the nation.

One of the roots of building a nation is Morality or righteousness.

Honesty, the rule of law, integrity, doing right. We are faithful to our wives. We do not deceive women to sleep with them. We do not take anything from work without the permission of our supervisor, even so much as a piece of paper or one photocopy.

Someone dishonest in business will not be trusted. Someone who works to get money as quickly and as easily as possible, will eventually be very poor. Many people take shortcuts in business. They deliver inferior goods that did not cost a lot in order to make a quick buck. But as the client realizes the poor quality of the workmanship he will lose respect for the contractor.

But the contractor who tell his client that he is charging more money for a job so that the job will last and give happiness to the client for a long time, will be respected by the client. Eventually the clients will give him a reputation that will not only give him consistent business, but also give him honor in the community.

If a political party tells the police to only prosecute a certain race, or a certain tribe, and it tells the police to NOT prosecute party members, NOR certain tribal members, NOR members of a certain, race, this nation will rot very quickly because there is no true rule of law. Also the privileged members will feel they are immune from prosecution and will commit terrible sins of theft, corruption, murder etc.

Someone can get very rich through corruption, but definitely others will be suffering loss. Eventually the money raining down from heaven will stop and the man will get quickly back to poverty. He might die from diseases of the rich – HIV, overweight, heart attack, and many others, but he will suffer in this life. When he dies, worms will eat him in intense heat and eternal regret and torment- forever.

Someone can make a game out of seducing as many women as he can. One dutch young man told me he had slept with over 200 women. Some women go to clubs every Wednesday and weekend in order to have a ‘good time’ many of these women sell their bodies for money. How come Zimbabwe has 70% Christians, yet the HIV infection rate is one of the highest in the world and the average life expectancy is about 36 years old? This man that people go to church but they do not obey the moral values that God has ordained for man.

Exactly why has Jesus Christ died? He died to reconcile man to God.

2 Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

He died so that our sins can be forgiven. He died so that we might legally become the righteousness of God.

2 Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

True. But it did not end there. He died to save us from our sins. This means that we were in bondage to sin, but now we have, by faith in Christ, been freed from those sins. Paul said

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Nearly all churches, including the false prophet and false teachers preach reconciliation to God through Christ and forgiveness of sin, but true prophets, true teachers and true pastors will teach that Jesus also came to deliver us FROM SIN.

When we get to heaven, heaven will be a sin free area. So what do you want? You want to sin on earth but be righteous in heaven? It does not work like that. If you wish to practice sin on earth you will practice sin in hell. If you have faith in Jesus to deliver you from sin on earth, you will be delivered from sin in heaven.

1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

I have talked about spirituality being the root of the national tree. I have spoken about the false spiritualities of Zimbabwe. Now I am going to talk of true spiritulity.

True spirituality is centered in Jesus Christ. He is all, and in all.

Col 3:11  Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor circumcision  Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

He is the way, the truth, the life. The Jesus lifestyle is the only lifestyle. Truth is centered in the person of Jesus. He is the truth. He does not only speak the truth but all truth is embodied in him. Everything he says is the truth. Everything he does is the truth. Everything he is is the truth.

Joh 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. This means that the Jesus way is the wise way. It means that Jesus gives us is righteousness legally. It means he is our sanctification, meaning he makes us obedient to God, his righteousness in this life in practice, we become holy, set apart to God. Jesus is our redemption, he redeemd us by his death and he redeems us by his life.

1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Jesus is our Lord. he is messiah, ruling ovr the whole universe. He is everything to us and for us. He meets our needs all of them. he is our very life. he is our bread. He is the living water. He is all we need, now and forever.

A job is a means of buying food to eat to serve him. Work is to glorify Jesus by our intelligence and skill. Business is a means of having money to sere God, not to enjoy luxury. When we work, we do not work to serve ourselves, OR our bosses. We work to serve Jesus in serving our boss and the community around us. By serving Jesus we will serve our boss. By pleasing Jesus we will please our boss.

The spirituality of Jesus is like this. He lives to do the word of God. That means we live to do the Word of God. Jesus lives to obey the father, doing the works of the father.  We live to obey the father, doing the works of the father. When Jesus was leaving, he said ‘As the father sent me, so send I you’. Jesus is the son, and so are we sons. he is son by incarnation, being begotten. We are sons by adoption, but we are still sons.

Al, thee spiritualities that give you power to do this or that; that give you personally the authority to do this or that; that give you anointing to do this or that .,…, are pseudo. fake, false. All authority come from the Father, is spoken by the Word of God, Jesus, and is executed by the Holy Spirit  he does the actual work. You are in your imagination if you think that God gives you power like a loaded gun, trusting you to use it properly.

In the wicked heart of man, we all desire to be like God since Eden. Thus we grab hold of any teaching that says we can claim it, speak it, anoint it, rebuke it, cast it, heal it, release it, bind it, When we do these things and we see them happening  we do feel like Gods. The universe moved at our word! It is a tremendous ‘high’. been there, done that, got the T-shirt…. but burned the T-shirt. But true spirituality is when we are obedient to the father, we speak these things in the name of Jesus [ie in Christ], not from our own will, but the will of the father. We know the will of God by seeing it in Jesus through the Word of God.

The works of man glorify man, even when he claims he is using the anointing given to him by God. The works of Jesus glorify Jesus even when we are the servant of God, speaking the will of God, and seeing God kind of results,
